2027: No Coalition Can Stop Tinubu’s Re-Election Bid – Femi Fani-Kayode

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Femi Fani-Kayode, has accused opposition forces of deploying misinformation and propaganda to create tension within the ruling party and undermine the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a strongly worded statement, Fani-Kayode alleged that the opposition is deliberately spreading fake news to sow discord among APC members and weaken their confidence in securing victory at the polls. He cited recent claims suggesting that the Governor of Nasarawa State is working for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as an example of what he described as “fabricated narratives.”

According to him, such reports are part of a broader strategy to create confusion, division, and panic within the ruling party’s ranks.

“The space is getting heated, and given their desperation and inclination for disinformation, those of us in the APC must close ranks and brace for what lies ahead,” he said.

Fani-Kayode urged party loyalists and supporters of President Tinubu to remain united and focused, stressing that internal cohesion would be critical in countering opposition tactics. He also called for the inclusion of young and dynamic Nigerians in the party’s political strategy moving forward.

Drawing from religious references, the APC stalwart expressed confidence that the ruling party would overcome political challenges, insisting that no amount of opposition collaboration—local or foreign—would destabilize the government.

He reaffirmed his belief that President Tinubu would secure re-election in 2027, adding that Nigeria would continue on a path of progress.

The statement comes amid rising political activity and early maneuvering by major stakeholders as the country gradually builds toward the next general election cycle.
