In a bold move to revolutionize fuel distribution and promote cleaner energy, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has taken delivery of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) powered trucks. The trucks are expected to begin operations soon, transporting refined products across the country.
As part of this green initiative, the company also announced plans to establish over 100 CNG refueling stations nationwide, boosting accessibility and reducing dependence on diesel and petrol.
This development aligns with Nigeria’s push toward alternative energy and is expected to create ripple effects in the transport and energy sectors.
