Popular auto dealer and businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna, widely known as IVD, was arrested on Friday, August 1, 2025, at a Nigerian airport while attempting to board a flight to Qatar.
Sources revealed that IVD’s arrest is linked to an ongoing domestic violence case involving the tragic death of his late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna. The case, which is still pending in court, reportedly restricts IVD from leaving the country until its conclusion.
According to insiders, IVD will remain in police custody through the weekend and is expected to be charged in court on Monday, August 4, 2025.
