Illegally Refined Products packed in drums and sacks have been uncovered by operatives of the 6 division Nigerian Army in the Delta community of Kwale, in Ndokwa West local government area of the state.
In a statement made available to Galaxy news by the Army Acting Deputy Director of Public Relations Lieutenant Colonel Danjuma Jonah, said the Joint Task Force recorded the feat in conjunction with other security agencies in the Niger Delta region.
According to the statement, Hundreds of gallons filled with illegally refined crude oil and diesel, as well as diesel packed in sacks were recovered during the raid.
Over thirty thousand liters of stolen products, an operational vehicle and other incriminating items were also recovered in the ongoing operation in Delta state.
Meanwhile, the General Officer Commanding 6 Division Nigerian Army Major General Emmanuel Emekah while appreciating the informants for their support, said due diligence was taking into consideration to verify the authenticity of the recovered products.
