Ten Years After Fire, Oba Market Gets Facelift as Okpebholo Visits Site

Edo state governor Monday Okpebholo has reaffirmed his resolve to deliver on his campaign promises to the people of the state.

The governor gave the assurance when he inspected the ongoing reconstruction works of the historic Oba market in Benin City which was destroyed by bire ten years ago.

Speaking after inspecting the construction works, governor Okpebholo said his visit is to fulfill the promise made to the traders during the Governorship campaign in 2024.

On his part, the project manager promised a mini fire station to prevent a fire outbreak when completed.
