Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday, joined commuters on the Blue Line Rail at Marina to mark the two-year anniversary of the rail project.
In what turned out to be a lighthearted moment, the governor unexpectedly ran into a member of his Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) Church. The encounter, though surprising, saw Sanwo-Olu remain composed as other passengers on board watched with smiles and laughter.
The governor, who has often emphasized his administration’s commitment to modern transportation, used the train ride to interact directly with Lagosians and assess their commuting experience on the Blue Line.
Passengers expressed delight at the governor’s presence, describing the gesture as a show of leadership by example. The Blue Line Rail, commissioned to ease traffic congestion in Lagos, has served thousands of residents since it began operation.
