Verydarkman Calls Out EFCC, Demands Return of Seized Phones or Court Trial

Verydarkman

Controversial Nigerian activist and social media personality, Verydarkman, has publicly called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to either charge him to court or return his confiscated mobile phones.

In a post shared on Instagram, the activist accused the anti-graft agency of unlawfully detaining his devices since May 2, when he was allegedly picked up by EFCC operatives.

According to him, the continued seizure of his phones has hindered his ability to carry out business initiatives aimed at empowering Nigerian youths.

“I went to China, I made connections with manufacturers and CEOs of production companies. This cost me time and money. All of this I did in order to help a lot of Nigerian youth explore business opportunities, like importing goods and others. Y’all have my phone and it is restricting me from helping people,” he wrote.

He further challenged the EFCC to make public whatever allegations they may have against him.

“Give me my phones or take me to court and tell Nigerians what I did,” he added.
