The Nigerian national power grid has collapsed once more, plunging most parts of the country into total blackout.

As of 12:25 PM today, data from the grid shows that only 50 megawatts (MW) of electricity was available nationwide.

Breakdown of power distribution indicates:

  • Abuja DisCo – 20 MW
  • Ibadan DisCo – 20 MW
  • Benin DisCo – 10 MW
  • Eko, Enugu, Ikeja, Jos, Kaduna, Kano, Port Harcourt, and Yola DisCos – 0 MW each
