Tinubu Unveils Mbaise-Umuahia Road, Twin Flyover, and EIICC

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially commissioned three landmark infrastructure projects in Imo State: the 52-kilometre Mbaise-Umuahia Road, the Control-Assumpta Twin Flyover, and the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre (EIICC). The colourful commissioning ceremony drew an enthusiastic crowd of residents, students, traditional leaders, and government officials.

The event was marked by vibrant cultural displays, music, and widespread celebrations, as the people of Imo State hailed the projects as a major leap forward in the state’s development journey.

Now open for public use, the newly completed infrastructure is expected to significantly enhance mobility, economic activity, and the state’s capacity to host high-level conferences and events.

President Tinubu’s presence at the occasion, alongside Governor Hope Uzodimma and other top dignitaries, underscored the Federal Government’s continued support for transformative projects in the Southeast.
