Police Service Commission Introduces Whistle-Blower Channels for Transparent Recruitment

PSC

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has introduced a whistle-blowing policy to curb malpractices in Nigeria Police recruitment, ensuring transparency, fairness, and merit.

The PSC stressed that the move aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly Priority Area 2 (National Security) and Priority Area 8 (Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption).

The policy provides secure channels for reporting bribery, result manipulation, falsified credentials, sexual harassment, ghost candidates, impersonation, or any undue influence. Reports can be submitted anonymously via hotlines (08065265651, 08059544355, 09159329404, 08035866677), email ([email protected]), the PSC website (www.psc.gov.ng) or official social media (PSCNigeria)

The Commission assured whistle-blowers of protection under Nigerian law and pledged prompt, independent investigations with strict disciplinary and legal action against offenders. It stressed the move aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda on security and anti-corruption, urging citizens to support efforts toward a credible, professional police force.
