Reality TV star and BBNaija Season 7 winner, Phyna, has responded to online critics who accused her of “moving on too quickly” following the death of her sister.
The backlash began after Phyna shared new photos of herself on X (formerly Twitter), which some netizens interpreted as being insensitive so soon after her loss.
Addressing the criticism, Phyna reminded the public that grief is a deeply personal journey with no fixed timeline or appearance. She urged people to respect her healing process and to show empathy rather than judgment.
In her words:
Reminder: Grief has no manual, no fixed face, and no timetable. The fact that I choose to keep living, smiling, or sharing moments does not erase the pain I carry. Respect the process, even if you do not understand it.
If you cannot extend compassion, then at least extend silence.”
