Residents of the Alakahia–Rumosi axis in Port Harcourt were thrown into panic on Tuesday night after armed men reportedly snatched a Toyota Avalon 2015 model at gunpoint.
The incident, which occurred around 8:30 p.m. opposite the Primary School along the busy route, left eyewitnesses terrified as the assailants swiftly fled the scene with the vehicle and other valuables.
According to reports, the armed suspects also made away with three mobile phones belonging to the car owner an iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro, and a Samsung Galaxy S8.
Security operatives in the area have reportedly been alerted, and investigations are said to be underway to track the stolen vehicle and apprehend the suspects.
