A fresh controversy has erupted in Nigeria’s political circle after Mrs. Pat Akpabio, sister-in-law to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, issued a scathing warning and threat to expose the country’s number-three citizen over alleged misconduct.
In a viral statement making the rounds on social media, Mrs. Pat Akpabio accused the Senate President of alleged immoral behavior and warned him to vacate his seat or face public exposure.
“Why are you so scared of powerful women? You sleep with married women and your wife would go after them to eliminate them. The only way you will get me not to expose you is to vacate the Senate. If not, this is just the beginning,” she allegedly said.
Mrs. Pat Akpabio, a gospel singer and motivational speaker, is married to one of the Senate President’s brothers. Her recent outburst adds to a growing list of personal and political controversies surrounding the Akpabio family in recent years.
