Following the directive of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle, MON, has arrived at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport in Birnin Kebbi.
Dr. Matawalle is expected to remain in the state to directly supervise ongoing security operations and coordinate all efforts aimed at securing the safe release of the abducted schoolgirls in Kebbi State.
The Defence Minister’s arrival underscores the Federal Government’s commitment to ensuring the swift rescue of the victims and restoring calm in the affected communities.
