Dangote Refinery Allegedly Suspends Petrol Sales, Voids PMS Supply Agreements

Dangote Refinery

Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE has allegedly suspended the sale of petrol and voided all existing Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) supply agreements, according to a report by Petroleumprice.ng.

In a notice sighted by the outlet and circulated to counterparties on Monday, the refinery reportedly informed customers that all existing PMS deal recaps are now invalid, effectively placing a halt on previously agreed supply arrangements.

Industry sources cited in the report suggest the disruption may be linked to ongoing maintenance work on key processing units within the refinery, though no official statement has yet been issued by Dangote Refinery to confirm the development or clarify the duration of the suspension.

Market watchers say any prolonged halt in PMS sales could impact fuel distribution and pricing, especially if alternative supply sources are unable to immediately fill the gap.
