Four persons, including a popular blogger known as Joes Media TV, have been found dead after spending the night at a studio in Ajah, Lagos State, in an incident that has raised serious questions and public concern.
Joes Media TV, who was widely known for promoting gospel artistes, alongside three musicians, were reportedly invited to perform at a three-day virtual birthday praise event organised by a woman identified as Olanireti Akinbola. The programme was said to have been hosted at a studio located in Ajah.
Sources disclosed that due to the distance to their respective homes, the four individuals decided to sleep overnight at the studio after the day’s activities. They were later discovered dead in their sleep the following morning.
Since the incident, conflicting speculations have trailed the cause of death. While some reports suggest possible food poisoning, others point to inhalation of generator fumes, allegedly caused by a generator left running throughout the night.
