Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Igboho, has publicly declared his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to secure a second term in office.
Igboho made the declaration in a recent statement where he expressed strong confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and insisted that Nigerians should allow the president to complete two terms in office.
According to the activist, he does not support the idea of alternative presidential candidates such as Peter Obi of the Labour Party or former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
“President Tinubu for a second term. We don’t want any Peter Obi or Atiku Abubakar here,” Igboho stated.
He further stressed that Tinubu’s leadership should continue even beyond the constitutionally allowed two terms, adding that supporters would still urge the president to remain in power after completing eight years.
“Even after Bola Tinubu completes his eight years in office, we will still beg him to continue,” he said.
