The Enugu State Government has intensified ongoing road infrastructure upgrades across several strategic locations within the state, including New Haven, Ogui Roundabout, All Saints Roundabout, Paradise City Road, and Abakaliki Close in the GRA axis.

According to the administration, visible progress is already being recorded as contractors push forward with rehabilitation and expansion works aimed at improving connectivity and easing movement within the city.

The projects are part of a broader urban renewal initiative designed to reduce travel time, improve road safety, and strengthen economic activity by creating a more efficient transport network for residents and businesses.

Officials say the interventions are not merely cosmetic but are targeted at addressing long-standing infrastructural challenges that have affected mobility and commerce in key parts of the state capital.

Governor Peter Mbah reiterated that his administration remains committed to delivering people-centered development projects, emphasizing that infrastructure renewal is central to improving the quality of life of Ndi Enugu.

He noted that the ongoing works reflect the government’s determination to build a modern, functional, and economically vibrant Enugu State, adding that “tomorrow is here” as development strides continue across urban corridors.
