
Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, has expressed heartfelt appreciation to Nigerians and well-wishers for the outpouring of love and goodwill messages he received on the occasion of his 62nd birthday.
In a statement released after the celebration, the governor thanked Bola Ahmed Tinubu, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio, alongside governors, lawmakers, traditional rulers, and citizens across the country for their support and prayers.
Eno also extended gratitude to the people of Akwa Ibom State, describing their show of love as overwhelming and deeply appreciated. He stressed the importance of unity, peace, and collective effort in building a brighter future for the state.
The governor marked his birthday with a visit to Divine Children’s Home in Uyo, where he celebrated with children in special care. According to him, sharing the moment with the children—through songs, smiles, and interactions—was one of the most fulfilling aspects of the day.
He further commended those who chose to support the poor and vulnerable in lieu of sending gifts, describing the gesture as meaningful and impactful.
Governor Eno concluded by praying for continued blessings upon the people of Akwa Ibom State and reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive development and service.
