
A kidnap victim, Basil Chukwuebuka, frrom Awka Etiti, Idemili South LGA, Anambra State, has accused a senior officer in the Anambra state police command of selling his Mercedes Benz GLE vehicle recovered from his abductors.
According to Harrison, Basil was k!dnapped while driving on February 28, 2024 at Igboukwu, Anambra State. According to him, he spent three days in the k!dnappers’ den and paid ransom for his release.
He stated that the police recovered Basil’s vehicle abandoned by the k!dnappers and that the vehicle was then parked at Anambra State Police Command Headquarters Awka.
He mentioned that since 2024 till date, the police has refused to hand over the recovered vehicle to him and that there are rumors that a senior untouchable police officer sold the vehicle.
Harrison said the IPO who handled the case named Tochukwu, closed the case and told Basil that Police station is not where they dump vehicle.
‘’The victim is pleading that we all assist him recover this vehicle by sharing and tagging the Nigeria Police Force and other relevant Authorities’’ he said
