Former presidential candidate Peter Obi was captured in a viral video intervening in a heated altercation between two drivers at the airport, preventing what could have escalated into a major traffic disruption.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred shortly after Obi departed the airport. Two men were reportedly engaged in a fierce argument over parking space and vehicle clamping, drawing attention from bystanders and causing tension around the area.
An eyewitness recounted, “While we were leaving the airport, we encountered two men engaged in a heated quarrel over parking and clamping. Without hesitation, Peter Obi instructed his driver to stop. He stepped out of the vehicle, approached them calmly, and pleaded with them to embrace peace instead of conflict.”
The video circulating online shows Obi speaking calmly to both parties and encouraging them to settle their disagreement peacefully. His intervention reportedly eased tensions and prevented a possible traffic hold-up around the airport vicinity.
