Nnewi Princess, Esom Nwafor Orizu, a candidate for the Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency elections, is reportedly on the run following allegations that the EFCC has declared her wanted for allegedly defrauding her kingsman.
Princess Esom Nwafor Orizu, popularly known as Adakaibeya, is suspected of defrauding her kingsman and an Nnewi businessman of approximately N500 million through the fraudulent sale of land to her kingsman, who also hails from Ndiakwu Otolo, Nnewi.
Sources familiar with the matter indicate that the dispute pertains to claims concerning the sale of land valued at around N500 million. It is further alleged that the EFCC is actively investigating the case while all her bank accounts have been frozen to prevent further transactions pending her arrest and subsequent criminal proceedings.
Princess Esom has publicly declared her candidacy for the upcoming federal constituency elections and was actively involved in her campaign before the emergence of this controversy. She has since gone into hiding, and despite efforts by the victim to apprehend her, these have been unsuccessful.
As of this report, no official response has been received from her regarding the allegations.
