Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has broken his silence following his withdrawal from the APC governorship primary, assuring supporters that his administration remains focused despite the political tension in the state.

Speaking during the inspection of an ongoing project on Friday, Fubara said he remains “in high spirits” and reaffirmed his commitment to completing all projects initiated by his government.

“We want to assure our people that notwithstanding the situation, every work that we have started will continue and be completed. We are in high spirits and like I always say, Rivers first,” the governor stated.

Fubara’s withdrawal from the race had earlier sparked mixed reactions among supporters, with some expressing disappointment while others described the move as necessary amid the growing political crisis in Rivers State.
