Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has approved new welfare packages for Amotekun operatives.
The operatives will now be enrolled in the state’s health insurance, pension scheme, and the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund.
He also approved the issuance of Warrants of Service Enlistment for officers, pending the legal framework.
The government says the move will strengthen the corps and improve security operations across the state.
