Governor Seyi Makinde has assured families of the teachers and pupils abducted in Oriire Local Government Area that efforts are ongoing to secure their safe return.
Speaking after visiting the affected families, Makinde said he listened to their concerns and reassured them that the government and security agencies are doing everything possible to rescue the victims.
The governor expressed optimism that the abducted individuals would soon be reunited with their loved ones, adding that the state remains committed to supporting the affected families throughout the ordeal.
