
Residents, under the aegis of Concerned Citizens, have sustained mass protest of kidnapped students and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area that are still in the captivity of bandits in the forest.
Protesters, engaging in peaceful solidarity mass action, demand the federal and state governments urgently take decisive actions to rescue the kidnapped victims without further delay.
The Oyo residents were joined in the protest by Take-It-Back Movement, led by Omoyele Sowore.
There was heavy security presence, guarding the protesters.
“Bring Back Our Children” dominated their loud voices, amidst solidarity songs.
