A Niger Delta woman popularly known on social media as “Mama Victoria General” has vowed not to be silenced after allegedly receiving threatening phone calls following her criticism of Nigerian politicians and Christian leaders over the country’s worsening insecurity.

In a viral video circulating online, the outspoken woman claimed that an unknown caller contacted her and allegedly attempted to intimidate her over comments she made days earlier concerning insecurity in Nigeria.

Reacting to the alleged threats, Mama Victoria General declared that she would not back down from speaking her mind, insisting that fear would not stop her from demanding accountability from those in positions of authority.

“They’re calling me with threats, but I won’t be intimidated. If I die for this, I’ll die a hero. Nothing can stop my voice,” she said.

Her remarks come days after she publicly criticised political leaders and questioned the response of prominent religious figures, including the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adejare Adeboye, to the country’s security challenges.

The video has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some Nigerians praising her courage and willingness to speak out, while others urged caution amid concerns about her safety.
