At least 14 people have been confirmed dead following an attack by suspected Fulani militia on Efeyi community in Ugboju District, Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State.
The attack occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, according to local officials, who said the assailants stormed the community, killing residents and leaving several others with varying degrees of injuries.
The injured victims were reportedly evacuated for medical treatment, while security agencies have yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
