If I Could Question God, I’d Ask Why I Left My Comfort Zone for Politics — Peter Obi

Peter Obi

The presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Peter Obi, has reflected on his journey into politics, saying that if he ever had the opportunity to question God, he would ask why He allowed him to leave his comfort zone and venture into public service.

Obi made the remark while speaking during a discussion at a meeting on Monday.

According to him, although politics has taken him away from a more comfortable life, he believes every individual is placed where God intends them to be and must work for the good of society.

“I’m a politician today, but if I ever have the opportunity to question God, I would ask Him why He allowed me to leave my comfort place and get involved in politics. But wherever we find ourselves is where God wants us to be, and we must do everything we can for the benefit of the masses,” Obi said.»

The former Anambra State governor stressed the importance of selfless service, urging leaders and citizens alike to remain committed to improving the lives of the people and contributing positively to society.
