Joseph Eze Okafor, a Nigerian billionaire businessman and founder of Jezco Oil and Jezco Group, has reportedly been kidnapped in Anambra State.
Okafor, who is also the father of Nigerian socialite Jowizaza, was reportedly abducted last week while praying at a mountain in Ifite Awka.
According to reports, the businessman had gone to the mountain alone to pray and seek the face of God throughout the night, without his usual security details and police escorts.
It was reportedly during the prayer session that unknown gunmen allegedly abducted him and took him to an undisclosed location.
The development has reportedly thrown his hometown, Ekwulobia, into confusion and mourning, with residents said to be deeply concerned since news of the alleged abduction emerged.
Okafor is regarded as one of the wealthiest individuals from the community.
