A young woman allegedly set a rented apartment on fire after accusing her boyfriend of cheating.

The incident reportedly occurred in Kabusa Gardens Estate, Abuja over the weekend.
A resident of the estate who narrated the incident in a Facebook post on Tuesday explained that that trouble started when the man returned home around midnight.
His girlfriend accused him of cheating on her with another woman.
The woman allegedly threatened him with a knife but he managed to escape, locking the door behind him.
The woman allegedly dismantled the air conditioning unit in the apartment, gathered all the man’s personal belongings and set them on fire.
Not done, she poured fuel all over the apartment and set it on fire.
Estate security and residents quickly mobilized to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to mother parts of the property.
According to her, the couple has been living in the estate for barely five months and security personnel had previously intervened in a similar violent confrontation between the couple last month.
