A hospital building has collapsed in Calabar, Cross River State, following a devastating landslide reportedly triggered by torrential rainfall.
A Calabar-based pharmacist, Mr Mekzy, who shared a video of the incident, said the collapse occurred on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

The footage circulating online shows the extent of the damage, with parts of the hospital structure giving way after the landslide.
