Omoyele Sowore Warns NDLEA Against Destroying Cannabis Farms, Calls for Legalization and Regulation
Sowore criticized the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for destroying cannabis farms, arguing that the practice wastes economic opportunities while Nigeria continues to struggle with poverty.
He called on the government to stop destroying cannabis farms and instead legalize and properly regulate cannabis, invest in research, explore its medicinal and industrial potential, create jobs and generate revenue for the country.
“You cannot burn your way out of poverty, foolish people!” he said.
