
The Liberation People’s Party, LPP has called on the independent national electoral commission, INEC to respect a recent Appeal Court judgment.
The National chairman of the party, Hon. Abubakar Dogara made the call at its first National Executive Committee, NEC meeting in Abuja, where the National Chairman, Hon. Abubakar Dogara, addressed party stakeholders.
The LPP leader urged members not to relent in supporting the party by strengthening its unity towards the party’s goal in winning elected offices during the 2027 polls.
At the NEC meeting, the chairman highlighted the party’s manifesto, which is anchored on good governance, ending political exclusion, and addressing economic inequality.
On June 2, 2026, the Court of Appeal ordered the electoral body to officially recognize the LPP and issue its certificate.
