I Made Not Less Than ₦10 Million Monthly Selling Akara Burger — Gov Eno

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has revealed that he once made not less than ₦10 million monthly from selling akara and bread before venturing into other businesses.

Eno disclosed this while recounting his entrepreneurial journey and the experiences that shaped his business career.

According to the governor, he started by selling akara and bread, a combination he creatively marketed as “Akara Burger.”

“I started selling Akara and bread. Back then, I was doing Akara Burger — we opened the bread and put Akara inside for you. I made not less than ₦10 million in a month,” Eno said.

The governor’s account has drawn attention on social media, with many Nigerians reacting to his description of his early business venture and the income he claimed to have generated from it.

Eno, who is serving his first term as governor of Akwa Ibom State, has frequently spoken about entrepreneurship, wealth creation and the need for Nigerians to embrace productive economic activities.
