Dangote Says Tinubu’s Reforms Are Restoring Investor Confidence, Boosting Industrial Growth

Africa’s richest man and President of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, has thrown his weight behind the Federal Government’s economic reform programme, saying the measures are beginning to produce visible improvements in Nigeria’s business environment.

Dangote said the government’s fiscal, monetary and regulatory policies were helping to strengthen macroeconomic stability, improve investor confidence and create conditions for increased industrial productivity.

In a statement, the business mogul said the reforms were particularly important for large-scale manufacturers and industrial operators, which he described as key drivers of job creation, economic diversification and foreign exchange generation.

According to him, the emerging gains from the reforms demonstrate the importance of maintaining consistent and market-oriented economic policies.

“The economic reforms being implemented by the Federal Government are beginning to yield tangible results,” Dangote said, noting that businesses were witnessing increased economic activity and renewed investor interest.

He also linked the policy environment to the continued expansion of the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals complex, saying government measures aimed at increasing local refining, reducing dependence on imports and improving energy security had supported the facility’s operations.

Dangote said the refinery’s growing production capacity and expanding export activities were contributing to Nigeria’s economic recovery through foreign exchange earnings, employment generation and the development of local supply chains.

He maintained that stronger collaboration between government and the private sector would be crucial to sustaining the momentum.

The Dangote Group, he said, would continue investing in strategic sectors while supporting industrialisation, innovation and employment creation.

Dangote further expressed optimism that sustained reforms and policy consistency could attract more foreign direct investment and strengthen Nigeria’s position as a major industrial and investment destination in Africa.

He said the combination of decisive government policies and private-sector investment could unlock greater opportunities for Nigeria’s economic transformation and long-term growth.
