2027: Power Is Temporary — Isaac Fayose Warns Politicians Threatening Nigerians

Isaac Fayose, a Nigerian political commentator and brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, has drawn attention to the ongoing legal troubles of former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor Godwin Emefiele while warning politicians against abusing power.

Fayose made the remarks while reflecting on the political influence and authority wielded by some public officials during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

“Who remembers former CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele? Very powerful and arrogant four years ago during the late President Buhari’s time. He is still in Kuje Correctional Centre,” Fayose said.

He went on to suggest that some politicians who currently wield significant influence and allegedly intimidate citizens could face legal consequences after the 2027 presidential election.

“Some of the political bullies you see this year threatening us, the citizens, will be in jail next year after the 2027 presidential election,” he added.
