Eagle 102.5 FM, Ilese-Ijebu, has emerged as the number one and most-listened-to radio station in Ogun State, according to recently released listenership ratings by Media Planning Services (MPS).
The station said the latest MPS figures placed Eagle 102.5 FM at the top of the radio listenership ranking in the state, with more than 1.5 million daily listeners.
The development marks a significant milestone for the station, which has continued to build its audience through news, entertainment, music, engaging programmes and discussions on issues affecting communities.
Since its inception, Eagle 102.5 FM has operated under the tagline “Up There With You,” with a stated commitment to delivering quality content and meaningful conversations to its audience.
Reacting to the latest rating, the Chairman of Eagle 102.5 FM, Asiwaju Kunle Kalejaye, SAN, expressed appreciation to the station’s listeners, advertisers, partners, management and staff for their contributions to the achievement.
Kalejaye described the rating as both an honour and a responsibility, noting that the confidence reportedly demonstrated by more than 1.5 million daily listeners would place a greater obligation on the station to maintain high broadcasting standards.
He added that the station would continue to invest in quality content, its workforce and technology while remaining responsive to the needs of its audience.
The Head of Station, Olakunle Balogun, also described the achievement as a defining moment for the Eagle brand.
“This is a remarkable milestone for Eagle 102.5 FM. To be recognised as the number one most-listened-to radio station in Ogun State, with over 1.5 million daily listeners, is a huge responsibility,” Balogun said.
He attributed the achievement to the hard work and creativity of the Eagle team, as well as the loyalty of its listeners.
