The Abia State Government has called on eligible youths in the state to take advantage of the ongoing Nigerian Air Force (NAF) recruitment exercise for Trades and Non-Tradesmen/Women.
The state government made the call in a public service announcement issued on Monday, September 28, 2026, by the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Governor of Abia State, Ukoha Njoku Ukoha.
According to the statement, the recruitment is for the Basic Military Training Course 47/2026.
The NAF recruitment portal, www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng, opened for online applications on September 3, 2026, and will remain open until October 14, 2026.
The government urged eligible and interested Abia youths to visit the official recruitment portal to obtain the necessary information, guidelines and application forms and complete their applications before the deadline.
It stressed that the recruitment exercise is entirely free of charge, warning applicants to be wary of fraudsters and individuals or groups demanding money in connection with the exercise.
The Abia State Government also advised prospective applicants to rely only on information provided through the official NAF recruitment portal.
The government wished all Abia applicants success in the recruitment exercise.
