Three people sustained serious injuries, while one person died in the crash.
LASTMA operatives monitoring traffic along the Coastal Road quickly arrived at the scene, secured the area and coordinated emergency assistance.
The three injured victims were rescued from the wreckage with the help of Good Samaritans and taken to Duck-Yard Hospital within the Military Zone for medical treatment.
Security personnel from Victoria Island also provided reinforcement, while LASTMA officers removed the badly damaged vehicle from the road to prevent another collision and restore normal traffic flow.
