The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has criticised the current administration, saying Nigerians are experiencing serious hardship under the government of President Bola Tinubu.
Ayodele alleged that the All Progressives Congress, APC, was planning to suppress Nigerians who may not support the party in the 2027 general election.
The cleric also warned President Tinubu that some individuals surrounding him could negatively affect his chances in the 2027 presidential election.
According to Ayodele, those close to the President may not be telling him the truth about the situation in the country.
He said, “Everything is not going well in Nigeria under this government. Nigerians are in serious pain. The APC wants to suppress people who don’t want to vote for them.
“President Tinubu, those surrounding you will ruin your chances in the presidential election. They are not telling you the truth.
“To the INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, it is either you sustain your integrity by doing the right thing in the 2027 election or you lose it, and it will bring a curse upon you.”
Ayodele urged the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Joash Amupitan, to uphold his integrity and ensure that the 2027 election is conducted fairly and transparently.
