Peter Obi Visits Nigerian Air Force

Former Anambra State Governor and 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has visited the Nigerian Air Force facility in Abuja to formally sign the condolence register following the recent aircraft crash that claimed the lives of personnel.

Obi said the visit, which came a day after he expressed his condolences, provided another opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made daily by members of the Nigerian Armed Forces and other security agencies in the line of duty.

He commended the courage and dedication of Nigerian military personnel, stressing that those who serve the country routinely put their lives at risk to defend the nation and protect its citizens.

Obi extended his deepest condolences to the Nigerian Air Force, as well as the families, colleagues and loved ones of those who lost their lives in the crash.

He prayed for the eternal repose of the departed and asked God to grant their families the strength and fortitude to bear the painful loss.

Obi also prayed for continued divine protection for all Nigerians serving the country, particularly members of the Armed Forces and other security agencies.
