Popular Nigerian social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has announced that he has chosen his preferred presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.
VeryDarkMan made the declaration in a viral video posted on his Instagram handle, where he expressed hope that his preferred candidate would win the election and urged Nigerians to vote for the candidate.
According to him, the decision was influenced by his concerns over insecurity, economic hardship and the declining standard of living across the country.
“Now that I have picked my presidential candidate for the 2027 election, I hope my own candidate wins, and I urge the Nigerian people to vote him for a better future for the Nigerian people,” he said.
The social media activist further lamented the economic situation, arguing that the hardship in the country has affected Nigerians across different income groups.
“The rich are now the middle class, the middle class are now the poor, the poor are nowhere to be found,” he stated.
He also described insecurity as a major concern, urging Nigerians to consider the country’s challenges and the future of its citizens when making their electoral choices in 2027.
His declaration has drawn attention to the growing political conversations ahead of the next presidential election, with issues such as security, the cost of living, employment and economic recovery expected to remain central to public debate.
VeryDarkMan is known for his outspoken commentary on social issues and public affairs, often using social media to express his views on matters affecting Nigerians.
