Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has stirred reactions after declaring that he would not die but would disappear when he had completed his assignment on earth.
Speaking during a lively moment with his congregation, the controversial cleric questioned how people would celebrate him after his death, insisting that he would not be available for a conventional burial.
“You can never celebrate me when I am dead. Who would go and put their foot in my burial?” he asked, repeatedly calling on his followers and asking whether they could see him.
Odumeje went on to declare, “Don’t come and plan a burial for me,” before making his bold claim: “I can never die. The only thing I will do when I’m done with my job, I will disappear.”
His remarks were met with enthusiastic reactions from the congregation, who responded with shouts and chants as the cleric continued his energetic performance.
He also described himself with grandiose expressions, referring to himself as a lion and someone destined to become a star, while the crowd echoed his words.
