The Enugu State Waste Management Authority (ESWAMA) has announced that there will be no environmental sanitation exercise on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
The authority disclosed this in a public notice informing residents across the state of the cancellation of the scheduled monthly sanitation exercise.
Despite the cancellation, ESWAMA urged residents to maintain proper hygiene and ensure that their homes, business premises and surroundings remain clean.
The authority also encouraged members of the public to continue practising good environmental habits to promote a healthy and cleaner environment.
ESWAMA reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a clean and healthy Enugu State, emphasising its slogan: “A Cleaner Tomorrow Today.”
