AS APC, APGA, PDP, ACCORD party Stakeholders unite for Tinubu’s 2027 victory in Anambra
Anambra State witnessed a powerful political convergence on Sunday as about 2,000 political stakeholders, party executives, serving public functionaries, candidates and influential figures from the APC, APGA, PDP and Accord Party stormed the International Conference Centre (ICC), Awka, for a high-level joint stakeholders’ meeting convened by Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR.
The massive turnout underscored a renewed momentum for political collaboration and strategic mobilisation ahead of the January 16, 2027, presidential election, with Governor Soludo expressing delight at the unprecedented gathering of political leaders and stakeholders across party lines.
Setting the tone for the meeting, the governor made it abundantly clear that the central objective was to galvanise collective support and mobilise massively for the victorious re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in Anambra State.
Highlighting critical infrastructure projects completed, ongoing and proposed by the Tinubu administration, Soludo called on the electorate to rally behind the President to sustain the momentum of development and attract even greater federal interventions to the state.
The governor equally charged candidates contesting various elective positions, particularly those seeking seats in the National Assembly, to intensify their campaigns and secure victory. He urged them to strategically align with the national assembly caucus after their election to maximise opportunities for attracting democratic dividends to their respective constituencies.
In a strong assurance to political contenders, Soludo pledged a level playing field for all candidates across party lines, stressing that the electorate must be allowed to freely choose representatives capable of delivering tangible development without fear or favour.
Speaking at the high-powered gathering, the APC candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District and South-East Zonal Director of Election Planning, Coordination, Monitoring and Mobilisation, APC Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Uche Ekwunife, CON, commended Governor Soludo for what she described as a courageous political initiative.
Ekwunife, after observing established protocols, expressed appreciation to the governor and the state chairman of the APC Presidential Campaign Council for championing the strategic engagement, while reaffirming her total commitment to the mobilisation drive for President Tinubu’s re-election.
She declared:
“Mine is to appreciate you for taking this very courageous path, and also thank you for standing by the APC Presidential Candidate, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for all the good works he has been doing in Anambra State.
As a party, we are going to align with your vision of mobilising key stakeholders across party lines, in view of ensuring the victorious emergence of Mr President at the January 16th Presidential election.”
Her powerful remarks, delivered with political conviction and strategic clarity, ignited enthusiastic applause from the audience, further energising the gathering.
An elated Governor Soludo immediately acknowledged her contribution, responding emphatically: “Thank you, Iyom. Let’s get it done!”
The meeting marked a significant moment in the unfolding political realignment in Anambra State, with stakeholders across party divides rallying around a common agenda of strategic mobilisation, political cooperation and securing President Tinubu’s victory in the 2027 presidential election.
