Tinubu Cares for Ordinary Nigerians, Oshiomhole Insists

Former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, has defended President Bola Tinubu’s administration, insisting that the government has demonstrated concern for ordinary Nigerians through salary increases.

Speaking during an interview with Channels Television, Oshiomhole argued that the additional amount received by workers represents a significant improvement in their earnings.

He illustrated his point with the example of a worker earning N70,000 before receiving an additional N70,000, saying, “If a man who was on seventy thousand, now is given seventy thousand additional, that makes it one hundred and forty thousand for him, it’s a hundred per cent increase.”

According to him, Nigerians should appreciate the value of such an increase to low-income earners, stressing that “if you know what ten thousand means for the real masses, you will appreciate that.”

Oshiomhole maintained that the increase reflects the President’s concern for Nigerians, adding, “Tinubu has shown that he cares.”
