A Sitting President Will Pass Before 2027 — Prophecy Sparks Debate After Khamenei’s Death

Khamenei’s Death

A prophecy made earlier this week by Nigerian spiritual leader Primate Elijah Ayodele has gained widespread attention following the confirmed death of Iran’s Supreme Leader.

Primate Ayodele was widely quoted across social media platforms for declaring that “a sitting president will pass away before 2027.” The statement has since gone viral after Iran’s state media officially confirmed the death of Ayatollah Ali Hoseini Khamenei, who had ruled the Islamic Republic for 36 years.

According to official reports, Khamenei died following a major joint military offensive carried out by the United States and Israel late Saturday. The strikes reportedly targeted strategic Iranian sites, including the leadership compound in Tehran.

Iranian authorities declared a national mourning period, describing the late supreme leader as a martyr. Khamenei, who assumed leadership in 1989, was the highest authority in Iran, overseeing the nation’s political, military, and religious affairs for more than three decades.

Meanwhile, discussions continue online and within religious circles regarding the timing of Primate Ayodele’s prophecy. Though the cleric did not mention any specific country or leader at the time, many observers are now linking his statement to the recent development in Iran.
