Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has called on President Bola Tinubu to take urgent action over the escalating insecurity and widespread kidnappings in Nigeria.
In a statement, Edochie highlighted the growing influence of bandits across the country, warning that their unchecked activities are causing severe suffering for ordinary Nigerians. “Bandits are gradually taking over the whole country, spilling the blood of Nigerians at will without consequences,” he said.
The actor also expressed concern over the rising cost of living, describing the economic hardship as unbearable for many citizens. He questioned whether the current situation aligns with the “renewed hope” promised by the president.
Edochie’s appeal adds to growing public pressure on the government to implement stronger security measures to curb kidnappings, armed robberies, and other forms of violent crime affecting communities nationwide.
