A mother named Ngozi Okonkwo Ike and her daughter Ebere Okonkwo Ike, from Amechi Idodo in Nkanu East L.G.A of Enugu State, granted multiple interviews with several videos going viral. In the videos, Ebere said Patience Ozokwo should be held responsible if anything happens to her mother. She further claimed that Patience Ozokwo took the only land their late father left for them because her mother has two daughters and no son.
She added that her father’s kinsman whom her mother begged to help them look after the land went behind them to sell the land to Patience Ozokwo.
Patience has now reacted with her side of the story. She brought the middle man who brokered the sale of the land and got him to speak.
The man said the widow’s late husband was his kinsman and after he died, the widow approached him, begging for help to sell the land so she could get medical treatment for her leg and also bury her late husband.
He said that when he could not get a willing buyer, he called Patience Ozokwo who was abroad and asked if she was interested in buying land and the widow willingly sold to her with him as the middle man.
